Parking: Plenty available Ambience: One of the fanciest Chinese restaurants I've been in, with beautiful interior design. Plenty of seating available. Service: Friendly, and appreciate how they're honest about their menu recommendations. Taste: Got a variety of dishes, all of which were quite good and comparable to other similar restaurants in LA.

After thanksgiving haul - This is like what the Asian Mary Poppins said - just a spoonful of War Wonton Soup helps the hangover go down - in the most delightful way. Succulent pieces of adequately sized chicken, pork and bbq pork. The shrimp was crunchy and the wor wonton tasted like the filling of their Siu mai dimsum. The egg noodles were perfect in texture and went well with the protein. The siumai was so juicy and plump and had that melt in your mouth feeling. Sugarcane shrimp balls was so delicious with the dash of special sweet sauce they have. The sugar cane stick was left after I devoured the deep fried mixture - then I started biting on it and the natural juices came out blended with the shrimp ball flavor so what was left was the sugar cane threads devoid of its original shape. What an experience. This is the advantage of eating at home - you don't care who's watching. I was in the mood for something simple for noodles - so I got the vegetable chow mein. We typically get the house special pan fried noodle but I've always wondered how China Republic's chow mein compares with the mom and pops and o the Chinese chains - result is - more flavor-less oily -noodles were less starchy - and less salty. I was happy as it fixed my craving. We had other dishes like dimsum - bbq pork bun, Hargow (shrimp), and corn soup. Just one comment - Thanks again for being here in the inland empire so we don't have to drive all the way to Los Angeles county. Next time we'll take pictures.

Before the pandemic, this was the place to go for dim sum. Parking is never an issue. There is hardly a wait or a line to get in at opening time, too. Always clean, excellent service and waitstaff. I really like how they made the dim sum experience an elevated one. The music here is not so loud like other places. You can actually hear a conversation in front of you. While the selection of dim sum may not be as varied as other spots but the al cart menu is vast and can fill your needs. My favorite are the traditional dim sum dishes, sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf, shrimp har gow, steamed gailan, braised pork ribs, pan fried turnip, steamed rice noodle and egg tarts. Really can't go wrong with any of the dishes. I especially enjoy the oolong tea. Overall, if you're looking for a quiet, high quality dim sum, this place is your spot.

Always fun to try amazing gourmet dim sum here. Chinwse broccoli, Pan fried Shrimp Stuffed Pepper (B 4.95), Garlic Spareribs (D 6.95) are incredible to add a few dishes and not just dim sum. Some of the largest dumplings I've seen. Dishes come out hot and as they are prepped. Great for family style eating and lots of fun for all ages to try this cuisine.

I discovered this place while having dinner with a friend one night, and I was amazed by the quality of everything we ordered-- what seemed like almost the entire menu. The service was attentive, ensuring our food arrived quickly and that we were well taken care of. The ambiance was fancier than I expected. I will definitely return; I might even start craving this place.

China Republic is a beautifully-decorated restaurant offering a variety of specialty dishes in Rancho Cucamonga. I've dined here 4 times now and can give a fair review based on my experiences here. LOCATION China Republic is conveniently located on Foothill Blvd. just east of the 15 freeway. It is easy to find as the restaurant faces the main street and is close to the freeway. PARKING There are plenty of parking spaces around the plaza. Just be careful walking across to the restaurant, as some cars tend to zoom fast near the plaza entrance. INSIDE I love the simple decor here. Love the contrast of the white and espresso brown columns, and accents of blue. It just has a very desirable atmosphere as it's different from most Chinese restaurants around the Inland Empire. It is also very spacious and there are plenty of sections, including rooms to rent for private parties, a bar area, and the regular dinning area. FOOD & SPECIAL DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS Each time I visited, the servers were very attentive with our food allergies and were able to omit nuts, as well as offer suggestions that would suit our dietary needs. That was very much appreciated. SPECIAL EVENT During my last visit here, I coordinated a family event for about 30 people in their private room. Our guests were coming from different cities, including the birthday celebrant from out-of-state. The service was wonderful during dinner and all of our guests enjoyed the food. FOOD Some of the dishes we enjoyed were the following: * Eggplant with Garlic Sauce - Very good! The eggplant wasn't too mushy and had a good appearance. * Beef Steak French Style - A family favorite. We loved the tender beef and how buttery it was! * Pork Chop with Spicy Salt - What a treat! I usually don't go for fried pork chop but they really know how to make this well. Thinly sliced yet crispy and not dry. * Beef Chow Fun - This was okay; it tasted like any other chow fun I've had. * Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp - I didn't try this but it seemed to be popular with our guests. * Young Chow Fried Rice - I didn't get to try this either but the kids liked this. * Shu Mai (Dim Sum) - Skip. I've had better. * Hot Braised String Beans - One of my favorite side dishes and this one did not disappoint. The beans were perfectly blistered and delicious! * Singapore Style Noodle Soup - I didn't get to try this since it had seafood. WHEELCHAIRS / WALKERS / STROLLERS The restaurant is very spacious and should be easy to get around for those that need the space. Overall, each visit was pleasant and the service for our last private event here turned out well. Thank you, China Republic!
